I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Went to GSIS to do some research for my business case… Had lunch with two of my best girlfriends Vina and Vangie at Skyline on the 8th floor of GSIS. Gosh! I missed them so!!!!
Went to Medical City to have my skin looked at by a medical dermatologist (who is different from a cosmetic dermatologist). Turns out that what I have is not skin cancer (thank God) but cherry angioma which had to be lasered.
the fruitshake I like, but the caramel mocha cake of Red Ribbon, blech!
According to my doctor, everyone has it and can be treated anytime. It’s a virus like warts. Topical anesthesia was applied and had to be left for it to take effect for an hour. So I went off exploring the hospital’s beautiful garden and had snacks at its food court on the 2nd floor.

And after an hour, I went back to the doctor and had it finally zapped. It hurt a bit (like an ant bite) but I didn’t care. I just want it GONE.
A while ago this evening, Peter and I attended the opening of T.G.I.F at Fort Bonifacio. The event was hosted by the sensational DJ of Magic 89.9, Mo Twister, who gave Peter the invites.
Andi9 ws also there. I wasn’t in the mood to attend but I thought I should give Mo a chance since Peter likes the guy A LOT plus Popsie really knows the guy’s family well.
Oh well, like I feared, I got bored after a couple of minutes in spite of the fact that there’s this avid fan of Mo named Kat who was nice enough to talk to me…
and the fact that Mo looked real cute in person. Anyway, for some reason, the whole thing just felt dull and shallow and b-o-r-i-n-g. Maybe coz we came in late and there’s not much food left (blame it on my cute little blouse that got ripped (use your imagination why) so Peter had to buy me this ultra expensive ugly shirt from Benetton. Good thing it fits.
hmmm i wonder y ur top got ripped… *thinking naughty thoughts* hehe 
hmm…*wonders*, something must have happened during that event…lolz
