Me and my baby out on a simple date…yahoo!
Yeah…you read me right! I was so busy with my “student” life that I repressed that side of me that likes to shop til I drop! I guess I repressed it so much that when the opportunity struck, I just couldn’t stop myself from buying stuff.
Spectacular view from the 2nd &3rd floor… if only all malls are like this.
We were exploring Trinoma (in short for TRIangle NOrth of MAkati) and what do you know, they have my favorite shop in the whole world right where I wanted it — POWERBOOKS! Aaahhhhhh… the geek in me couldn’t be any happier!
We bought around 12 books this day, from comics to tarot to self-help to novels…. the sky’s the limit!
Now that I think about it, even if I spent around 12 grand, at least I spent it on books (7k), underwear (3k) and clothes (2k). It actually seems cheap compared to others who buy super branded stuff, right? But yeah, 12 grand is 12 grand. Huhuhuhu! Good thing that most, if not all, of my surfing, beach and wakeboarding trips sare cancelled til MDP is over. Meaning, I had extra cash to spare!
Don’t worry Popsie, I spent my bonus from the office. Don’t you think I deserve it? Hehehe!
I happily rode their glass elevator…weeee! Then another photo op when I safely reached 1st floor. Whew!
So tired from shopping, we needed some energy booster so we headed to their foodcourt and checked out what’s cookin’…
So many food stalls to choose from!
Anyway, for those of you who haven’t been to Trinoma, check out the pictures. The whole thing isn’t finished yet. But they already opened the first wing to the public. It has the usual feel of what an Ayala Mall is — spacious, classy, and “circular” which is ironic since it is THE TRIANGLE north of Makati.
This round activity center pretty much looks like that of Glorietta’s.
This is the cinema floor… spacious isn’t it?
You’ll see what I mean when you visit the place. It’s right across SM Block in North Avenue. You won’t miss it! It’s like being in Glorietta, Greenbelt and Powerplant all at the same time. What more can you ask for? Just make sure you have enough cash coz you’ll definitely be salivating at the good stuff lying around.
W e had our usual “candid” poses again…
And of course, before going back home (we’ll definitely miss this mall once we transfer to Alabang
), we hung out at my fave cafe — Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Peter and I had one of our long and funny talks which comes rarely these days. I felt kilig again! Like the way I did back in 1999. Oh, how time flies! But I’m glad our hearts are always where they’re supposed to be… with each other. *melt*
The Grand Opening of Trinoma is this June. Don’t know the exact date yet. Hehe.
Posted by twistedkai at June 4, 2007, 5:56 amHi Tom! Yup, I really love buying and reading all sorts of books. But due to time constraint, I have tons of books in my shelf waiting to be read. Hopefully when MDP is over, I can go back to my old happy-go-lucky and relaxed life.
Hi Kai! You’re really a Trinoma fan! Hopefully, we can go to the Grand Opening. We plan to transfer to Alabang sometime June11-17.

Btw, I still haven’t been bitten by the anime bug or anything Japanese for that matter. What’s Haruki Murakami?

You’re really a bookworm! I haven’t been there. The last time I passed by that area, it was still under construction. I think it opened last month only. Will try to visit the place.
