I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! The Human Walrus organized an eyeball event for all i.ph bloggers. The following attended: Cheska, Peachie, Marichit, Sanjay, Mikey, Coco, Steel, and Perry. The others who confirmed weren’t able to make it for some reason or another, like Koryn, Kai and Sheggz. I really wished they came. I missed Koryn and I would’ve loved to meet Kai and Sheggz. Personally, I had fun. I was being my usual kinky self, asking all those sexy and incriminating questions to everybody else. I was just curious, that’s all. I didn’t put any malice into it. Hehehe. Moreover, I was so famished the whole day (Peter was sick & he still is, so we only had soup & bread for brunch) so when I got there after my St. Luke’s appointment, I ordered my favorite Bangus a la Pobre and Pakbet dishes. Peter and Mikey came from the Philippine Blog Awards in Makati but unfortunately, Man Blog didn’t win (next time, you should advertise your site some more so we could’ve voted for you, darn it!). Anyway, there were also others who came like Anne, Ella, and Ayo (visiting cousin of Cheska from Malaysia) who we hope would become i.ph bloggers as well. I know i.ph’s system isn’t perfect yet (whose is?) but blogging in i.ph has been an awesome experience for me most of the time. Thanks i.ph for giving us a venue to meet up, voice our concerns regarding our blogs and know each other better. Hopefully, i.ph can sponsor a beach party before summer ends. That would really rock!
