After a loooong time of being prisoned in the four corners of my home (thanks to Smallville) I finally said to myself “Get a life!”
And so…
Last Thursday evening, Peter and I met up with some friends at 70’s Bistro. I was terribly missing Brownman Revival and I can’t control my urges anymore. So despite the fact that we have work early the next morning, we still went. To our surprise, there was some sort of a tribute bein’ played or rather a bar tour happenin’ entitled “STOP THE KILLINGS” and other bands were slotted to play as well — The Dawn, The Jerks, Sugarfree, Sandwhich and Radioactive Sago Project aside from Brownman Revival. You’d think I’d get hyped by this but I was just merely frustrated. Call me apathetic (well, I really am… That’s the essence of bein an Atenean, haha! Kidding! That’s just really me, apathetic ol’ me

I was dressed to kill, actually, more like dressed to rock the reggae vibe all night long. And now this. This is totally unexpected! I even thought what if some hardcore rebels or whatever you call them decides to dropby that event and killed us all coz it is after all an event FOR and BY the activists! Grrrr! I was just palnnin’ to have some clean, shallow fun. Darn it.
Brownman Revival at last!

Oh well, it’s not too late to somehow get involved (in the least possible way) and participate. At least my gfs were able to get starstruck by some journalists/celebrities. We even had some pictures taken with Conrado De Quiros and Teddy Casiño. And Peter enjoyed the last band who played that night, Radioactive Sago Project, while I locked myself in the car with my bestrfriend Mer while waiting for the whole thing to finish so we can just go home and sleep. So much for reggaein’ the night away.
