I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. And so I dream what I want to dream, go where I want to go and be what I want to be. After all, we only have this one life to do what really matters most.

Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

Our long-lost girlfriend whom we’ve missed for sooo long now is finally here! We celebrated her birthday last Saturday night in Bed at Eastwood and we had one hell of a time! Sweet and thoughtful Irene organized the whole thing and brought us all together. Ces, my ever-blooming friend and the ever-present Vicents were with us and we spent the night interrogating Dette. How is she? Is she happy? Is she ok? Is she stil a virgin? How’s her BF? Etc, etc. With Irene around, we never ran out of questions for Dette. She’s Oprah’s Filipino counterpart!
Anyway, it’s been a year since we last saw her. And that was during her birthday too! My, my, how time flies! We only wish the best for her. More happiness, good health and more love for herself. Peter gave the best birthday message for her that night: “Dette, you are stronger than you think, you are more beautiful than you believe and no one can complete you coz you’re already complete.” We all gushed at this and Irene fell inlove with Peter (again!) that night. Hehehe.
That’s Ces, Dette, Me and Irene (left to right). This was Dette’s bday last year. Went to Superbowl in Eastwood then roamed the tiangge for cheap finds.
Although our time tigether only lasted til 9pm, we had one great time! We decided to do this again (and more often now according to Dette) and planned to check-in at Mandarin Hotel on September 9 for some more girl bonding. Watch out for that! We’re gonna have one fantabulous girly time! =)
Koryn’s story is hers to tell. Peter and I just did our best to take care of our adopted child for the weekend. We talked till the sun was almost shining. And in the morning, we had breakfast (home-cooked hash browns) talked some more and decided that videoke is the cure! So we ended up belting our diaphragms and singing till way past noon. It felt good! I learned more about Koryn that day. She is one strong girl who thinks so maturely for her age. She actually reminds me of myself when I was 24. And her filofax is sooooo cute and colorful! Just like mine way back in college! Anyway, I know she’ll be fine. With so many of her friends who support and love her, Koryn’s happiness and success are sure to come!
