I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

If there’s one thing I am happy about my life as of late, it is the thought that FINALLY, Mac, my brother, is getting a grip on his life. He’s just 2 years younger than I am. Yet, he is such a late bloomer. But right now, after everything that has happened between him and our family, I don’t really mind. He is blooming before our very eyes. He is doing well in school, he is regarded as the “kuya” in his class, he is becoming very responsible when it comes to handling money whether it be his allowance, his tuition fee, payments for bills, etc. I never heard my parents complain, not even once while he is studying under my turf so to speak and I am just glad that all is well with him. He also gets to play with his band, Skambaruk, which I plan to watch next month I think, I‘m just waiting for his confirmation. And so, because the prodigal son has finally come home, what better way to reward his homecoming (while at the same time motivating his desire for better learning) than to grant him his request. This afternoon, I bought him his own computer. Peter got a bit jealous I think coz he also wanted a better computer model than what we have at home. I’m also not sure how my sister will react to this. After all, she was the one who left us and went to Cebu bringing with her our family’s computer which Mac also uses. So in a way, she has no right to get jealous, right? But if ever she gets to read this, and she is in fact feels envious, Abba, pls. don’t. The computer is ours. You can use it too if ever you decide to come back here.
Anyways, I’ll buy Peter his computer soon. Then hopefully, we can set up a network here at home. I bought a wireless router, DLink at that. But somehow, we can’t make it work. We had some DSL guy set it up for us to no avail. Peter said, it’s the computer we have to change. Ok, ok. Let’s try this October shall we? I’m not an ATM machine you know…
Enough of my corny jokes. I hope things get better for Mac. He deserves good will and lots of happiness. I love you bro!
